The Golden Spatulas have become a staple collection item in all SpongeBob games, including SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake. All eight need to be collected to gain an achievement.
Although all Cosmic Shake's gameplay involves platforming, reaching the Golden Spatulas often requires more skill or patience. However, the spatulas have absolutely no in-game value and do not change the gameplay or add any perks. Their sole use is to unlock the SpongeLock HolmesPants achievement.
