The car that Tom drives to the hotel where he will confront Annette and Dassin is the same one he sold earlier to raise the blackmail money.

When Tom is recounting the tale of his escape from the Germans he says after being shot in the leg he lost so much blood that he was close to passing out. At no point is there any evidence of blood on his uniform.
