La patrouille égarée (1961)

Trivia

La patrouille égarée

Edit
Michael Balcon had wanted to cast Peter O'Toole, who had played the part on stage, in the role of Bamforth. Another actor considered was Albert Finney. However, the American backers required a "name", and Laurence Harvey was cast.
The theme song of the film, from which the title was taken, is a British Army song from 1916, known as "Bless 'em All". This title however, is from the sanitized commercial version first recorded in 1940 by George Formby. The lyrics were originally "Fuck 'em All", the version still sung in the British Army to this day.
Richard Harris said Richard Todd would stand on mounds of Earth to look as tall as his co-stars.
Filmed entirely in the studio.
According to director Leslie Norman, Richard Harris resented Laurence Harvey, and both Harris and Harvey did not get along with Richard Todd.
