Les rebelles de Fort Thorn (1950)

Trivia

Les rebelles de Fort Thorn

Edit
Jeff Chandler, who was in the very early stages of his career, admired Joseph Cotten so much that he would show up to watch the veteran actor work even when he was not scheduled to be there.
Linda Darnell said that director Robert Wise was very agreeable to work with. She also added that there were frequent sand storms during the shooting, but the food was excellent, maybe too much for her (she had recurring weight problems). She also avoided Cornel Wilde as much as she could, as he was not that sympathetic to her--unlike Jeff Chandler,
One of the few movies to accurately use both the Southern and Northern terms for Civil War battles. IJoseph Cotten n the welcoming dinner shortly after the former Rebels arrive, Maj. Hutchinson (Jeff Chandler) asks Col. /Lt. Taylor (Joseph Cotten) if he was at "First Bull Run", the Northern term for the first major battle of the war. Taylor responds that he was, but later states he lost his brother at "First Manassas", the correct Southern term for the same battle.
Linda Darnell said she hated making westerns because she was allergic to horses.
Aurora Castillón is of Spanish ancestry.
