Film Bazaar Goa (India) is inviting entries for the 5th Co-Production Market which will take place from November 24 – 27, 2011. The deadline for submissions is September 30, 2011.

The Film Bazaar Co-Production Market is a four – day event where delegates are provided with the opportunity to meet, formally and informally, international producers, sales agents, distributors as well as broadcasting and funding representatives active in the field of co-production.

Filmmakers with South Asian stories seeking co-production partners are eligible for this program. The project could be in development, pre-production or production stage. There is no entry fee for applications.

Twenty selected projects will be presented in a Project Catalogue and e-mailed to all Film Bazaar delegates two weeks prior to the commencement of the market. Thereafter these projects will be presented in the Co-Production Market from November 24th-27th 2011 at Film Bazaar, Goa.

“Film Bazaar India 10”, the annual film market held by National Film Development Corporation Ltd (Nfdc) for the film industry professionals has partnered with Moscow Co-production Forum. This forum, which will be held alongside the Moscow International Film Festival from 17th -26th June, 2010 has selected the project “The Virgin Goddess” by K.N.T.Sastry.

Under this alliance, each partner organization will select one project to take part in the Moscow Co Production Forum and in Film Bazaar in Goa from 23rd -26th November, 2010. “The Virgin Goddess” was one of the projects showcased in the co-production market in Film Bazaar India-2009 in Goa.

Film Bazaar’s international partners include Cinemart and Hubert Bals Fund, the Binger Filmlab, Netherlands, Prime Exchange, Germany, Europa Cinema, France and Locarno International Film Festival. It is also exploring partnerships with Ifp, New York, Telefilm Canada, and Australia to facilitate greater collaboration between the International and Indian Film Fraternity.
