In an effort to put an end to all of the pointless violence, Spike, Tom, and Jerry draw up a truce and attempt to live in harmony together. All is going well for a while, with the trio even protecting each other from harm by other cats and dogs (including alley cat Butch, and a very toothy mongrel).
Of course, the peace was never going to last very long, and, after the threesome find a very large and tasty looking steak and decide to divvy it up (each trying to get the largest piece for themselves), they are soon back to their usual tricks.
An unexceptional T & J caper, made slightly more interesting by the unusual sight of the characters protecting each other, The Truce Hurts gets a very-slightly-above-average rating of 6/10 from me.
