Male lead Robert Arthur did not get along with actress Peggy Cummins during filming. According to Joel Blumberg's biography, "Lloyd Nolan: An Actor's Life with Meaning," Arthur found Cummins to be "rude, flippant, and generally unpleasant," further explaining, that when he was first introduced to Peggy on the set, she growled, "I look like his mother!"
This film's earliest documented telecasts took place in Fresno CA Friday 31 May 1957 on KJEO (Channel 47), in Scranton PA Tuesday 2 July 1957 on WGBI (Channel 22), in Phoenix AZ and in Portland ME Wednesday 3 July 1957 on KPHO (Channel 5) and on WGAN (Channel 13), in Indianapolis IN and in Cincinnati OH Tuesday 9 July 1957 on WISH (Channel 8) and on WKRC (Channel 12) and in Los Angeles CA Saturday 13 July 1957 on KNXT (Channel 2); color broadcasting was still in its infancy at this time and these telecasts were in black and white;
