Daffy Duck has often been depicted as married, but his wife is usually unnamed, being seldom called anything but Mrs. Daffy Duck. She is Daphne Duck in this cartoon, Each of her six appearances as his wife is quite different from the others and there is no evidence that any of these are the same character.
The drunken stork mixing up deliveries was a common plot feature in many WB cartoons.
One of the few times Daffy is actually shown flying.
One of the homes the stork arrives at before meeting Daffy is that of Mr. & Mrs. Pierce. This is a reference to longtime Termite Terrace veteran writer Tedd Pierce.
The Stork's overworked condition is a reflection of the post-war Baby Boom of the early 1950s.
