Joanne Woodward was greeted by 3,000 fans at Municipal Airport and escorted in a light blue Cadillac convertible at what the studio called the World Premiere of "Count Three and Pray" on October 24, 1955. However, the film had already opened for general release on October 16, 1955.
While Joanne Woodward had previously appeared in numerous television productions, this movie marked her film debut.
Joanne's Woodward's middle daughter Melissa is supposedly named after the character she played in this.
James Griffith, Myron Healey, Nancy Kulp, Richard Webb, and Kathryn Givney would all appear on "Perry Mason" starring Raymon Burr.
