Once again, the characters live in a beautiful modern postwar dwelling, complete with a spacious landscaped garden, as was commonly portrayed in cartoon shorts of this era.
Spike tries almost all of the traditional hiccup remedies (drinking water, scaring the sufferer, loud noises).
This is the only Tom and Jerry cartoon where Jerry failed to frame Tom.
