This film was initially telecast in Philadelphia Wednesday 1 January 1958 on WFIL (Channel 6), followed by Los Angeles 31 January 1958 on KTTV (Channel 11); in San Francisco it first aired 14 January 1960 on KGO (Channel 7), and, finally, in New York City 14 May 1962 on WCBS (Channel 2).

This film barely broke even at the box office, earning MGM a profit of only $1,000 ($18,250 in 2019) according to studio records.
