Laraine Day and George O'Brien in Painted Desert (1938)

Trivia

Painted Desert

Edit
Includes a considerable amount of archive footage lifted out of, and not replaced back into, The Painted Desert (1931).
The version released by C & C Television Corp. and shown on the Turner Classic Movies (TCM) channel omits the director and producer credits.
A rare film in which perennial villain Stanley Fields not only plays a good guy but even gets a love interest (albeit a comical one).
This film's earliest documented telecasts took place in Philadelphia Sunday 19 August 1956 on WFIL (Channel 6), in Altoona Monday 8 October 1956 on WFBG (Channel 10), in Wilkes-Barre Monday 22 October 1956 on WILK (Channel 34), and in Cleveland Friday 15 February 1957 on KYW (Channel 3).
