  • After fighting in the Civil War, Wild Bill Hickok and Whiney head west to investigate missing cattle herds. There they meet their war buddy Norris who is now in the cattle business. When he is unable to explain the missing herds, Bill goes into action.—Maurice VanAuken <mvanauken@a1access.net>
  • Union Spy Wild Bill Hickok (George Houston), and his trusted aides, Whiney Roberts (Al St. John) and Steve Norris (Dave O'Brien), are entrusted by General U. S. Grant (Jack C. Smith with a message that counteracts a planned Confederate attack which might have delayed the end of the Civil War. After the war, Bill is invited by Steve to become his partner in a cattle-shipping depot at the Kansas end of a new railroad. He declines. A few years later, Steve and his partner are facing bankruptcy because a gang of desperadoes have blockaded the main pass from Texas to the depot, and are charging ten dollars a head to allow the cattle to pass. A new United States Marshal and his pal are sent to investigate, and turn out to be Wild Bill and Whiney Roberts.—Les Adams <longhorn1939@suddenlink.net>
