The last of MGM's 10 "Maisie" frolics released between 1939 and 1947, this film was the only installment which failed to net a contemporary New York Times review.
This film did poorly at the box office, resulting in a loss of $142,000 ($1.62M in 2017) for MGM, according to studio records.
The last of ten movies starring Ann Sothern as the heroine Maisie Ravier.
Film debut of Meg Randall - billed here as "Gene Roberts".
This film's earliest documented telecast took place in Norfolk VA Wednesday 31 July 1957 on WTAR (Channel 3); it first aired in Philadelphia 15 August 1957 on WFIL (Channel 6), in New Haven CT 29 August 1957 on WNHC (Channel 8), in Lubbock TX 28 October 1957 on KCBD (Channel 11), in Honolulu 6 November 1957 on KHVH (Channel 13), in Chicago 16 November 1957 on WBBM (Channel 2), in Los Angeles 21 November 1957 on KTTV (Channel 11), and in San Francisco 8 February 1958 on KGO (Channel 7). Maisie finally made it to New York City this time 5 February 1963 on WCBS (Channel 2).
