Joaquín Soler Serrano, who plays the role of Roberto, was really an important journalist who had an enormous success both in radio and TV.
Both leading stars voices are dubbed, which in Manolo Caracol's case strongly contrasts with his many sung performances during the film. Lola Flores is dubbed by Elsa Fábregas and Manolo Caracol by Rafael Luis Calvo. Lola's typical Andalusian accent can be briefly heard in one song. Antonio Bofarull is also dubbed by Juan Eulate.
The song "La niña de fuego" was included many years later by Carlos Vermut in his film "Magical Girl" (2014) as a kind of leitmotiv.
