Legendary Mexican songwriter, composer, and singer Agustin Lara contributed some songs to this film. María Félix and Mr. Lara were married at the time of production of "La Diosa Arrodillada", but divorced shortly after the release of the movie, after a very tempestuous two-year marriage.
