Warning: Spoilers for Green Lantern #15!Batman is too serious for his own good, and Green Lantern is - well, not so serious. While the Justice League certainly has its share of light-hearted heroes, none of them quite match the maverick impulsiveness of Hal Jordan, which Batman just can't seem to stand. These two heroes have had a fraught history for as long as they have been around, but Green Lantern just pulled a move on Batman that shows he knows how to outsmart his "frenemy" better than anyone.

Robin faces a new weakness that is revealed by Rok the Demon in a fight. The debut of Rok raises questions about Robin's vulnerability and potential solutions, possibly leading him to seek help from a fellow Bat-Family member. Damian's struggle to overcome his new weakness may require him to confront his grandfather, Ra's al Ghul, to unlock the source of his possible conditioning.
Damian Waynes Robin officially gains a new weakness with the debut of his latest villain, Rok the Demon. This debilitating vulnerability is unlike anything Robin has faced before, adding a fresh and intriguing challenge to his storyline while also raising the compelling question of how he can overcome this new weakness. The answer may lie with Damian's grandfather, Ras al Ghul.

The Boy Wonder #3 portrays Tim Drake as a better brother to Damian than Jason Todd. Red Robin and Robin fight against a demon named Rok, who makes a pointed comment about Red Hood. Jason Todd's past mistakes in The Boy Wonder make it difficult for him to claim the best brother title.
Any Bat-Family fan knows that the debate over the best Robin is a constant point of contention. While DC hasn't definitively answered who they think the best Boy Wonder is, they have at least knocked one former Robin out of the running. This revelation comes after the comic publisher argued that Tim Drake is better than Jason Todd, at least in one major area.

Talia al Ghul is depicted as a daughter and mother with complex motivations and struggles. Talia's eco-conscious intentions give a solid reason why she is often depicted as a villain. Talia's complexity and journey make her more relatable as a strong-willed character than just a romantic interest.
If there's one thing Batman canonically likes, it's bad girls - and I don't blame him. Although one of his more infamous romances is with the head of an assassin organization, there is a lot more to Talia al Ghul than meets the eye. She's not just the Daughter of the Demon, but a person in her own right, struggling under her tyrannical father while trying to care for a son she has abandoned. Finally, the deeper side of her story comes to light and in a story told in the style of her country of origin.

Jason Todd's first Red Hood costume in Batman: UtRH is iconic and defined his character. Red Hood's exploding helmet showcased Jason's wild, dramatic, and unafraid personality, making him an icon in the eyes of fans. Despite mainstream continuity dropping Jason Todd's exploding helmet and passion-filled personality, Winick's version of the character lives on in transformative works.
Jason Todd has cycled through multiple Red Hood costumes over the past 19 years, sparking a range of opinions among fans, especially concerning some of the newer designs. However, if there's one thing most fans agree on it's that Jason's debut costume as the Red Hood will always be one of his best looks. Young Mazino spoke to Marc Malkin during Variety’s On the Carpet, presented by Directv, about landing a highly-coveted role in HBO’s “The Last of Us” Season 2. The network announced earlier this month the “Beef” breakout is set to star in the new season as Jesse, said to be “a pillar of his community who puts everyone else’s needs before his own, sometimes at terrible cost.” He joins fellow newcomers Isabela Merced and Kaitlyn Dever opposite returning favorites Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey. Mazino says he’s set to start filming the show in two weeks.
“After the strike ended, I was able to get a meeting with the showrunners and we kind of just shopped it up. I played the video game before the meeting and we had a long talk about their process and what they’re looking for. I guess ‘Beef’ pushed me the rest of the way.

For most people, volleyball is just a sport, but when it comes to the Haikyuu!! volleyball players, it's a matter of life and death.
When new manga chapters come out, spoilers will inevitably flood social media about devastating events that have transpired or characters d-wording, but some genres like sports manga rarely have these. Haikyuu!! fan kdadshiuimi (@/hoshiumisexy) reminisced on the time when the manga was still releasing new chapters, joking that spoilers from the manga usually consisted of "'atsumu passes the ball to meian'" and it's like ok... thanks..." After thinking for a minute, the fan retracted their statement, heatedly recounting the time when they had been spoiled about a character's return, saying "i was like 'what the fuck man. this is worse than seeing your wife on the day of your wedding before the ceremony. shut the fuck up!!'"

Prince William and Prince Harry looked dapper in suits and bow ties as they arrived for the European premiere of Star Wars: The Last Jedi at Royal Albert Hall in London on Tuesday. The brothers followed cast members Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Mark Hamill, and Oscar Isaac on the red carpet, though technically they count as cast members, too; after visiting the set last April, Harry and William landed coveted roles as stormtroopers in the film. On the carpet, they smiled while passing a line of stormtroopers and stopped to take a look at another character, Bb-8. Tuesday's premiere benefited the Royal Foundation, and more than 400 people who have taken part in their programs joined the royals at the event. They also invited some of the families who were affected by the Grenfell Tower tragedy in June. RelatedWant to Know What the Star Wars Cast Is Up To? Follow Them on Social Media!

The red carpet at the Oscars was a tad nippy this year, as actresses shivered in their diaphanous sleeveless gowns and strappy stilettos. Also exposing a lot of skin was the Australian cast from foreign language nominee “Tanna.”
Best Actress nominee Isabelle Huppert, fresh from winning a Cesar in Paris and an Indie Spirit in Santa Monica, wisely covered up.
Many nominees brought their parents, from composer Lin-Manuel Miranda (“Moana”) to Dev Patel (“Lion”).
“Lion” star Nicole Kidman brought her husband Keith Urban. “You’re the lioness that roared,” Daily Mail correspondent Baz Bamigboye told her. “I’m a kitten,” she demurred. “I’m not sure about that,” replied Urban.
On the carpet, you can see that Scarlett Johansson has a peekaboo tattoo under her arm, and that Taraji P. Henson had coated her long legs to shimmer with gold. “You’re not a hidden figure!” chortled an admiring Bamigboye.

The 2017 Grammy Awards was one for the ages, and Et's Cameron Mathison is joining ETonline's senior music editor, Sophie Schillaci, in our brand new Absolut Lime Green Room to revisit some of the most refreshingly surprising moments from music's biggest night.
"Everybody on the red carpet was talking about CeeLo Green," Schillaci says.
If there were an award for Best Arrival, the distinction would have gone to the "Forget You" singer, who appeared in all gold from head to toe.
"Was it outrageous? Yes. Was it crazy? Yes," Schillaci continues. "But it was actually part of this new persona CeeLo is trying to make happen called Gnarly Davidson."
Another outrageous moment came during the live show when Twenty One Pilots dropped trou while accepting the award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

On the carpet last night Turner offered a brief update to the projects she’s working on. The script follows the usual shonen path. In there, he must face internal competition, improve, and with the help of his newly acquired teammates face other schools and players. Among his teammates are Tobio Kageyama, a...

The casual irreverence of Spike’s Guys Choice Awards was evident everywhere during the show’s taping, from the upscale tiki/woodsy decor and leopard-print carpet to the green room that felt more like an A-list cocktail party than a staging area for busy celebs just waiting to do their bit on stage and rush off to another, possibly cooler event.

Wearing her typical pair of jeans, sneakers and a baseball cap, Robert Pattinson’s (former?) lover, 23, appeared for her presentation rehearsal, limping on her right foot from an unexplained recent injury, the Associated Press reports.
Even if Kristen does show up for the Oscars, we hope she’s also healthy enough to walk the red carpet! Can you imagine Kristen missing the carpet? That would be insanity!

Screenwriter for Don Siegel and writer/producer of classic TV series, he named many of his colleagues as communists
In 1951, when the screenwriter Richard Collins, who has died aged 98, testified before the House Un-American Activities Committee (Huac), he named more than 20 colleagues and friends in the film industry as belonging to or sympathising with the Communist party. Although by so doing he saved his Hollywood career, it was an action that cast a shadow over the rest of his life, regardless of his success in film and television as a writer and producer.
According to many, it was a cowardly act, which Collins later tried to justify, as did directors Elia Kazan and Edward Dmytryk, by saying that it was his patriotic duty, and that Huac knew the names anyway. However, in an interview in Victor Navasky's book Naming Names (1980), Collins called himself "a son of a bitch, a miserable little bastard.

Matt Damon and his wife, Luciana, hit the red carpet last night in NYC for the premiere of his new movie Promised Land. He wrote, produced, and stars in the movie alongside collaborator John Krasinski, who posed for photos without his own spouse, Emily Blunt, who's been in England making All You Need Is Kill with Tom Cruise. Emily's sister Felicity Blunt was able to attend, though, with her husband, Stanley Tucci. Matt and John also celebrated the upcoming movie with costars Rosemarie DeWitt and her husband, Ron Livingston. On the carpet, John spoke about his strong friendship with Matt. He said, "I would love to have a bromance with him, but I don't even know if I could even use the word 'bromance' because he and Ben [Affleck] are so tight and like a married couple that I'll never get in there." Matt and John said a few words before the screening,...

LeAnn Rimes was all smiles Thursday as she walked her first red carpet - actually, a black carpet - since leaving treatment for anxiety and stress, attending the Los Angeles premiere of Batman Live with husband Eddie Cibrian and his boys. In keeping with the Batman theme, the Grammy winner, 30, was sporting a black dress and black boots, with a black clutch. Earlier in the evening, she posted a photo to Twitter, "channeling my inner Cat Woman" before the show. On the carpet, she and Cibrian, 39, firmly held hands as they posed for photos with Mason, 9, and Jake, 5. All four...
