Trivia

Charlie Chan sur la piste sanglante

Edit
At one point at the TV station, Sidney Toler appears to have actually gotten shocked, albeit accidentally, by a cyclometer, ad-libbing " . . . also keep finger out of same" in response.
Leonard Mudie plays a horror actor called Horace Karlos. Ironically, when Boris Karloff was at "Monogram" doing his "Mr. Wong" series, he used a plot device similar to the method of murder utilized here.
Mantan Moreland and real-life nightclub partner Ben Carter (playing himself) recreate two of their nightclub routines.
When Birmingham and Tommy are in the precinct they see a mug of Birmingham. It says he is approximately 38 yrs. old.
This film was first telecast in New York City Thursday 17 June 1948 on WCBS (Channel 2), in Cincinnati Tuesday 6 December 1949 on WKRC (Channel 11), and in Los Angeles Monday 2 January 1950 on KTLA (Channel 5).
