A very positive surprise in this funny politically incorrect movie.

This is a rather politically incorrect movie, meaning it shows men and women behaving more or less normally. Being a comedy, things are a bit exaggerated but a movie like this could NEVER be made today.

I purchased this movie (on DVD) just so I could look at Marjorie Weaver. I was surprised to find a humorous and very entertaining film. During World War II there was a shortage of young men. At this college, the women decided to ration the few available men. As in all rationing, the women found a way to cheat, and in some cases things backfired a bit. I wouldn't call this movie a musical although there are some entertaining musical scenes.

If you don't take this movie too seriously and just sit back and watch the craziness I think you will enjoy it.
