Two-Man Submarine

I have seen propaganda war films made during WW2 which were far worse than this one, mainly because of their length. Here, the length can't be in question, only 62 minutes. But the plot is not so foreseeable, I won't say sophisticated though, but quite interesting, and the settings in this jungle - celluloid, I admit - island pretty agreeable. Tom Neal perfectly adequate and good character presence. And above all, this movie is from the prolific director Lew Landers, who contributed much during the conflict in terms of war features. This one remains one of his best, better than TOKYO ROSE. Good little film.
