The Federal Bureau of Investigation has joined the search for a North Carolina woman who has not been seen since Monday afternoon, when she left her job at an airport Starbucks for a quick break and never returned, People confirms.
Friends and relatives of 24-year-old Allison Cope are worried she might be in serious danger, as she left both her purse and cellphone behind at her job — something they insist in social media posts she would never have done willingly.
Police say Cope disappeared Monday after leaving the Starbucks she manages inside the Raleigh-Durham International Airport.

Before moving to its new Mondays-at-9 time slot on June 26, AMC’s Preacher kicked off Season 2 Sunday with an hour that was every bit as sexy, wacky and gory as a fan could pray for. (If nothing else, it had to make at least a few of us rethink our definition of “foreplay.”) But did “On the Road” bring Jesse, Tulip and Cassidy closer to their quarry — God — than it did the Saint of Killers to his — Jesse? In the wake of last week‘s Daniel-centric Fear the Walking Dead, Sunday’s installment accelerated almost all of the series’ plots, revealing whether Madison could really handle maniacal mama’s boy Troy as well as she insisted she could, bringing Nick and Luciana, as well as Jake and Alicia, to turning points in their relationships, dropping Strand into a predicament that was arguably as dire as his near-execution by Dante, and introducing a whole new threat. Hank Schrader’s death was a real punch in the gut to Breaking Bad fans… but Dean Norris enjoyed every minute of it.
“Yeah, man, I loved it,” the actor tells TVLine, reflecting on filming “Ozymandias,” the pivotal episode of AMC’s Emmy-winning meth-trade drama that first aired in September 2013. In it, DEA agent Hank, wounded after a shootout with a murderous band of neo-Nazis, refused to beg for his life (despite his brother-in-law Walt’s pleas) and told Nazi leader Jack to “go f–k yourself” before taking a fatal bullet.

Why is it that fictional characters can have such an influence on us? Despite the real-world knowledge that Sandra Oh has chosen to leave Grey's Anatomy to pursue other projects, my heart wants what it wants and what it wants is more Cristina Yang. Alas, that is not to be, and knowing that my favorite cardio-thorasic surgeon is about to check out of Seattle for good fills me with an irrational, yet palpable sadness. I need to get a grip and quickly, because "Change of Heart" has set things in motion. And things in motion tend to stay in motion. We are careening towards the finish line.

One of the first records I ever purchased was André Previn’s jazz version of My Fair Lady….and I’ve never fallen out of love with this wonderful album. Now, nearly sixty years later, Previn is back at the piano alongside Michael Feinstein for a brand-new collection called Change of Heart. It’s the latest in a long line of records that performer and musicologist Feinstein has masterminded, in his tireless quest to call attention to underappreciated songs by some of America’s greatest musical talents. In this case, he persuaded Previn to dig through his “trunk” of forgotten and unrecorded songs, many of them written with his onetime wife Dory, a gifted lyricist. (Remember “You’re...

Since making her Vampire Diaries debut in 2011's roaring 20s episode, The End of the Affair, Claire Holt has literally and figuratively sunk her teeth into Mystic Falls, emerging as one of the most-beloved and well-rounded characters on The CW's hit series.
And now that she character Rebekah has been undaggered (seemingly for the 100th time), her supporters are in for a bloody good time as the Original refuses to let anyone stand in the way of her locating "The Cure." Whether Rebekah actually wants to take said cure was the number one question I had for Holt when I telephoned the adorable Aussie yesterday for a chat about her fans, her fangs and her future!
ETonline: What have you thought about Rebekah's storyline this season?
Claire Holt: I feel really lucky as an actor because I get to go a lot of places with Rebekah. I get to explore her vulnerable side, I get to...

Sarah Assbring, aka "El Perro del Mar," has been playing indie pop for years in Sweden, but only recently has she garnered international attention, due to her collaboration with Lykke Li in 2010. (See the "Change of Heart" video below for the results.) Assbring recently talked to The Huffington Post over the phone, and our conversation ranged from learning about her new album, which debuts this November, to the creepy fan who regularly texts her messages of undying devotion. "Walk On By" is the latest song from her upcoming album, which you can listen to here.
Change of Heart with Lykke Li:

Sa: I would have to agree with that, because it’s basically more or less true. It’s to do with the...

Circumstances are closing in on Walt this week on Breaking Bad, but he’s so enamored of his newfound power that he can’t see the brains spattered on the wall. So as the feds draw closer and new players gun for our shiny domed antihero, he’s busy drawing up a new business plan and creeping out his loved ones. (Side note: I think I need to start taking a Xanax at 9:59 on Sunday nights.) Without further ado, gather your glass flasks and don your biohazard suits as we review the major developments of “Madrigal.”

We dare you to disagree: when all was said and done, 2010 was a great year for movies.
Christopher Nolan managed to somehow create a summer blockbuster in “Inception” that actually required thinking. Animation dominated the Cineplex with perhaps the greatest lineup of cartoons a single year has ever seen — “How to Train Your Dragon,” “Despicable Me’ and “Toy Story 3″ just for starters. And “The Social Network” managed to combine our two national obsessions — movies and the internet – in a way that, frankly, only we here at Nextmovie had ever previously accomplished.
Just kiddin’.
There were a lot of tough choices, but we managed to crown the year’s best movies, scenes and stars in our first annual year-end movie awards.
Best. Movie. Ever.
Ftw: “The Social Network”
It didn’t sound like a recipe for Hollywood perfection: the kid from “Zombieland” in a movie about Facebook? Really? But beyond...

It's the final season of one of television's best shows, and after seven solid seasons, The Mary Tyler Moore Show never slowed, or became stale. With series strongpoints "Sue Ann Gets The Ax", "Lou Proposes", "Ted's Change Of Heart", and of course, the historic "The Last Show", the final season was an overall effort worthy of a show that took home dozens of awards.
The DVD release includes every episode from the final season, and "Final Curtain Call," which aired only once, and has never before been available. Unfortunately, the release is without special features or bonuses of any kind, but the legendary show doesn't particularly need them.
The fun and zany adventures still abound, but the final season is an interesting entity for its closing effort as I've already mentioned. From the birth of Ted and Georgette's baby, to the examination of Murray's professional life, the show brought its...

Remember how a star is set to be re-born? A few months after hearing that the oft-used music story A Star is Born would get another retelling courtesy of Warner Bros., Deadline Hollywood Daily reports that Nick Cassavetes is in early talks to direct it, after reading a draft by Will Fetters. As Dhd points out, this comes after the director sued New Line -- sister studio to WB -- for being taken off the project Elephant Orphanage. Change of heart? An apology? Bygones be bygones?
