Washington, Apr 2: Women who are night owls are as susceptible as men when it comes to risk taking, a new study suggests.
The research suggests that sleep patterns are linked with important character traits and behavior, study author Dario Maestripieri, University of Chicago professor in Comparative Human Development said.
Night owls-people who tend to stay up late and wake up late in the morning-are different in many important ways from early risers, he found.
"Night owls, both males and females, are more likely to be single or in short-term romantic relationships versus long-term relationships, when compared to early birds," Maestripieri said.
"In addition, male night owls reported twice as many sexual.

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel party it up in Miami! The couple kept the good vibes going after J.T.'s concert and hung out at Cavalli Restaurant and Lounge until the wee hours of the night. E! News learned that the famous duo arrived with a group of over 30 people at 1 a.m. and stayed for a few hours. Night owls! The group ordered drinks and watched a performance by the venue's Brazilian dancers. Biel seemed to enjoy the act so much that she was even spotted taking pictures of the ladies! We're told that the lounge stayed open late especially for the very special guests, and that Timberlake brought his own DJ who spun for the party for the remainder of the evening. At the...

London, Mar 24: People, who like to work at night, could indeed be brighter than the much better-regarded early risers, a new research has suggested.
Night owls are defined as people who stay up late and sleep later in the morning while, the larks, are at their peak in the morning, going to bed and getting up early.
In scientific tests, evening types showed more of the kind of intelligence that has been linked to prestigious jobs and higher incomes.
However, larks tend to get better school grades, possibly because lessons were at the wrong time of the day for night owls.
Nearly 1,000 teenagers took part in the research at the University of Madrid, which involved many tests including measures of school performance.

Watchmen is DC’s highest-selling comic collection. Ever. So, while DC are neither confirming nor denying the swirling rumours of the four miniseries being explored by different writer and artist teams under a single editor, it would not be a surprise that the powers-that-be are considering digger deeper into this potential goldmine.
There seems to be a lot of other articles out there pre-emptively lambasting comic fans for not liking the idea of expanding the Watchmen universe. Which is fair enough. Sort of. After all, there will definitely be ire, no doubt fuelled by Alan Moore himself as he is inevitably asked about it by interviewers when he’s trying to talk about work he didn’t write several decades ago.
I fully respect and understand Moore’s reasons for not wanting anything to do with DC or these properties anymore but, on the other hand, as a huge fan of Watchmen,...

Wednesday night (February 16) smelled like sleep deprivation, bad craft service and embarrassing levels of desperation. It's not Vma week here at MTV (kidding), so it must mean one thing: Hollywood Group Number Night on "American Idol"!
In the past, we've had havoc-wreakers like the Brittenum Brothers, Tatiana del Toro, Julia DeMato and Antonella Barba. Who will step up and be this season's resident diva?
As it turns out, a bunch of people!
Thanks to producers insisting that each group feature singers from both days of the first Hollywood round (thus thwarting savvy hopefuls who secretly created groups and rehearsed on their day off), contestants' true colors shone through immediately.
The first diva showdown came during the initial group number scramble. In one corner, we had "professional choreographer" Tiffany "Star Tatas" Rios, and in the other we had Scotty "I Only Know One Song" McCreery. No shocker that nobody wanted to be in Tiffany's group.

Landing on Mars is the easy part-what's hard is spending the better part of a year getting there. Josh Dzieza on the grueling 256-day simulation astronauts are enduring.
On Monday, six men will emerge from a small metal tube, frail and exhausted, having become the first humans ever to endure the grueling, sanity-testing, seemingly endless journey to Mars.

But for all their trouble, they'll reap none of the glory most astronauts get. For when they emerge onto the Red Planet's surface, they'll actually be right where they started 256 days ago: in a nondescript Russian suburb.
Anyone going to Mars will face several challenges: the devastating solar radiation, the physical strain of prolonged weightlessness. But the difficulty of simply getting there is a daunting prospect in and of itself. The challenge of keeping astronauts sane, healthy, and working together...
