Valerian Star Dane DeHaan Cast as Billy The Kid in New Western With Ethan Hawke
As many of you already know, I'm a huge fan of westerns. So, I'm happy to report that we've got a new western coming out called The Kid and it's being directed by Vincent D’Onofrio (Daredevil). According to Deadline, Dane DeHaan (Valerian, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Chronicle) will be taking on the role of Billy the Kid and he will star alongside Ethan Hawke.

The story is said to focus on "the infamous gunfighter in a tale told through the eyes of a young boy who reaches out to his hero to help save his family.

I've been fascinated by Billy the Kid ever since I was a kid and it's great to see another movie get made that revolves around him. I also love that D'Onofrio is directing! This film will be his directorial debut. As for the casting... DeHaan is perfect for the role and I'm sure he'll give another great performance.
