When Peter Ouronov buries Alexandra in the fallen leaves, Alexandra is facing up. When he returns, she comes out from the leaves facing down.

When Robert Donat enters the train station with the stationmaster, the shadows of the camera and crew are clearly visible.

As Fothergill and Alexandra escape through the unguarded border crossing, they quickly move through heavy brush. The shadow of the cameraman and his equipment can be seen upon their clothes as they walk.
