Van Heflin, Whitney Bourne, and Chester Morris in Flight from Glory (1937)

Trivia

Flight from Glory

Edit
RKO borrowed Chester Morris from Columbia for this film.
According to a contemporary article in The Hollywood Reporter, Preston Foster was originally cast as "Ellis" before the role went to Onslow Stevens.
The plane George is depicted as stunt flying over the airfield before landing is a Stearmen C3B, registration NC4099 - NR4099 in this film). This same aircraft can also be seen in Central Airport (1933), Power Dive (1941) and Yukon Flight (1940). The plane has been "dirtied up" for the picture, but the scalloped-edge paint scheme on the tail and rudder is visible, indicating it belonged to Paul Mantz.
Aviation services were provided by the legendary Paul Mantz.
The film was given a "B" rating by the National Legion of Decency - morally objectionable in part for all.
