Exclusive: Tia Mowry will be part of Lifetime’s original movie franchise for years to come. The Game and Sister, Sister alumna has closed a three-picture deal with the A+E network to star in and produce three holiday movies for their It’s a Wonderful Lifetime slate. The telefilms will air beginning 2021. The pact comes on the heels of Mowry starring in two back-to-back Lifetime holiday movies – A Very Vintage Christmas (2019) and My Christmas Inn (2018) – both of which will also be featured during this year’s holiday schedule.

Mowry will produce the three films under the deal via her production company with executive Tiegen Kosiak.

The Dancing With the Stars judge tied the knot with Brooks Laich in a beautiful wedding on Saturday, near Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, after nearly two years of being engaged, People reports.

Hough wore a custom Marchesa gown and accessorized with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, according to the outlet. She given away by her father, Bruce.

Today is a strange Father's Day for my family. My dad is currently in Las Vegas, where he has been since last Tuesday and will be until this Tuesday, so we're not doing the brunches, or the grilling, or presenting him with ties. Instead, he's spending today like he's spent the rest of the week: betting on World Cup matches and playing poker. Today, Variety reported that Tia and Tamera Mowry will be starring in Double Wedding, a new Lifetime movie about twins who court the same person. It's casting that makes sense, but I found myself a bit surprised upon the news. After all, isn't this the same Sister, Sister act that separated when Tamera joined Lifetime series Strong Medicine, and Tia joined the cast of former CW series The Game? Way back when the C-dubs announced that Tia would star in the network's sports-centric sitcom, I was optimistic that both actresses might have actually successfully split from their ever-present other halves. And why shouldn't they have had the opportunity to go solo? They were both beautiful, talented actresses who could easily hold their own without their mirror image beside them. Unfortunately, however, both series only lasted so long, and with today's news, I fear the Mowry sisters will have to rely...

Lifetime Movie Networks is preparing for Double Wedding, starring twin sister actresses Tamera Mowry and Tia Mowry.

According to Variety, the film centers on twin sisters who begin dating the same man, and will be directed by Craig Pryce and produced by Automatic Pictures. Jennifer Maisel is writing.

Production begins in September, and the film is set to air in June.
