RKO received numerous letters of complaint from glass-blowers unions when the new technology of beer in cans was featured in this film. The first commercially successful introduction of canned beer was on January 24, 1935 in Richmond, Virginia due to a partnership between the American Can Company and the Gottfried Krueger Brewing Company. It was so successful that by the end of 1935, over 200,000,000 cans of beer had been sold by various brewers across the USA.
Contemporary Hollywood Reporter production charts added Harold Minjir, Landers Stevens and Russell Hicks to the cast, but they did not appear or were not identifiable in the movie.
The working title of this film was "The Indestructible Mrs. Talbot," which was also the title of P.J. Wolfson's story.
Margaret Lindsay was on loan to RKO from Warner Brothers.
