Trivia

Mickey patine

Edit
First cartoon to feature all five of Disney's biggest cartoon stars: Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy and Pluto. Two more stars, Horace Horsecollar and Clarabelle Cow, also make a brief appearance.
In the opening scene, while Horace and Clarabelle are skating in the foreground, they can also be seen skating past in the background.
"On Ice" from 1935 is the fourth and last Cartoon of 1935 to feature Mickey with yellow gloves.
"On Ice" from 1935 is the second color appearance of Minnie Mouse, her first color appearance was in the special color film "Parade of the Award Nominees" for the 1932 Academy Awards.
"On Ice" from 1935 is the first Cartoon to feature Goofy's modern mature redesign with a big chin, sleepy eyes and trousers. It is also the first time Goofy sings "The World Owes Me a Living", the same song sung by the Grasshoper in the 1934 Silly Symphony Cartoon "The Grasshoper and the Ants".
