    Tailspin Tommy Serials

As a young boy in the 1930's I tried to see each of the chapters of this movie serial. Tailspin and his partner were my heroes on the radio too. I used to run around with my arms outstretched imitating a plane in flight and would have given anything to have a helmet like the Eagle wore in the serial. I lost contact with this movie for years until one day I happened on a Big Little Book with the story in it. I bought the book at a yard sale and using it as a guide tracked down the movie. I have it and others in my BLB and movie serial collection. I try to watch them all in a given years period which is quite difficult but Tailspin Tommy always seems to make it in the ones I chose to watch. Thank you for giving me the chance to let others know how much I like all the chapters of this fine serial.

    • Goofs
In the episode "The Roaring Fire God" the Coast Guard cutter CG-254 is heard to be blowing a steam whistle. These small craft were not steam, but diesel powered, so this type of horn would be unlikely.
