Scotty Beckett, George 'Spanky' McFarland, and Pete the Dog in Washee Ironee (1934)

Trivia

Washee Ironee

Edit
"Washee Ironee" marked the end of Tommy Bond's first stint with "Our Gang", 11 films from 1933 to 1934. He was mostly used as a peripheral character and never really developed his own personality among the Rascals. In late 1936 Bond rejoined the series to play what became his most famous role, as the bully Butch.
Director James Parrott has a cameo in this film. He can be glimpsed walking by the outside of the Chinese laundry.
The final "Our Gang" appearance of Wally Albright. Producer Hal Roach groomed him as a replacement for Dickie Moore and liked his well-meaning, take-charge personality. But in 1934 Albright left the series after six films to pursue more lucrative work in big studio features.
The only "Our Gang" film directed by James Parrott, a veteran of the Roach studio best known for his work with Laurel & Hardy. It includes the duo's first feature, "Pardon Us" (1931), and the Oscar-winning short "The Music Box" (1932).
This famous Our Gang/Little Rascals short became the last film to be directed by James Parrot. He can also be seen doing a cameo as a man walking past the laundry.
