Ozzie and Pete are bums, riding the rails. They obviously need food. They grab a chicken and try to force her to lay eggs. When they finally manage to pull off her head and take her eggs, their efforts to cook them fall short. The rest of the film is a wiener dog sheriff chasing them. The animation is pretty primitive.

Oswald the Lucky Rabbit and Peg-Leg Pete co-star in this cartoon, full of absurd transformations and the sort of globular designs that Disney and his staff favored in those days. They are a couple of tramps riding the rails, encountering interfering cows, chickens who refuse to give eggs, and the dachshund character playing a railroad bull who sets out after them with a bicycle and a shotgun.
Like many silent movies which fell under the control of Universal, this one was likely destroyed in the middle of the 1940s, literally dumped in the ocean for a tax loss. However, a copy was found about 2010 in the Huntley Archives, and is now available, if still uncommon.
