During the filming of a scene where a lion sniffs her character as she lies unconscious, Louise Lorraine had to interact with the real lion, who refused to leave her after the shot had been taken. She had to lie completely motionless while various members of the crew (and eventually the tamer) distracted the lion and coaxed it away from her.
