    Shameful trash

Listen to "Candle in the Wind."

Why is it okay to make fun of a woman who was mentally ill, addicted, depressed, and being victimized by a president? Does it help anyone to reduce her talent to a time in her life when she was being bullied by her co stars, and right after she lost a baby and a husband?

I was disgusted that this was made, much less shown on a premium network.

    "Marilyn died in the nude."

Exactly how victimized she was then in death, and now it's repeated by making fun of her?

Good short that hits the right tone

This is a very affectionate dramatisation of a documented event: that Marilyn Monroe needed a lot of takes for a scene in 'Some Like It Hot' (1959).

It's mildly sends up the event without ever mocking Marilyn or looking down upon her. All the characters are pulled a little larger than life but the real ones were pretty large to start with. It clearly likes and sympathises with Marilyn, shown in particular in a talk on her hard earlier life and also in a brief moment she has alone near the end.

Another very entertaining and enlightening Urban Myths episode that sends you on your way with a warm and kindly feeling towards Marilyn.

You knew this would be stupid.

A ridiculous treatment of an urban myth. I was hoping for a documentary on the making of the movie instead I got this short bit of idiocy.

    Adam Brody as Jack Lemmon...

Was the only good thing about this. It just wasn't funny. They made Marilyn Monroe look like a moron. She was a shy perfectionist which did make her late on set, but she was pregnant during the filming of Some Like It Hot and definitely not known for drinking screwdrivers. This is such an insult to her memory. The actress attempting to portray Marilyn did an impression of Betty Boop. Adam Brody did his homework and nailed his performance as Jack Lemmon. They did a better job at recreating her dressing room than they did with the casting. Arthur Miller was tall and lanky nothing like the actor that portrayed him. Paula Strasberg was completely out of character, too. If you're a real fan of Marilyn Monroe, you'll probably want to skip this one.
