We Never Learn : Bokuben anime is a delightful blend of comedy, romance, and slice-of-life. The story revolves around Nariyuki Yuiga, a hardworking student tasked with tutoring three geniuses, each struggling in subjects they're bad at. The character dynamics are charming, with each girl having unique quirks and insecurities. The series balances heartfelt moments with laugh-out-loud humor, making it an enjoyable watch. The art style is vibrant, and the soundtrack complements the light-hearted tone. It's a perfect pick for anyone who loves a mix of romance, comedy, and heartwarming friendships.

This is one of the best anime I've ever seen not because of Harem and everything but character of protagonist.
Seriously I've learn so much form him I strongly suggest to read its manga.
This anime series in centred on Yuiga Nariyuki, a high school student who needs to tutor three girls if he is to qualify for a university scholarship. The girls are each very successful in one area but for one reason or another wish to concentrate on the subjects they are weakest at when they go to university; against the advice of their teachers. Luckily they are all hard working. Inevitably over the course of the series romantic feelings develop.
As this was released the season after the not dissimilar 'The Quintessential Quintuplets' I thought they might be too similar for this to stand out; thankfully it is different enough. The characters are all likeable and even though it is clear from very early on that it will be a harem show it doesn't become too 'ecchi'. The characters are all likeable with distinctive designs and the animation is solid. The story involves the sort of escapades on expects in such series which means when it is over it may be forgotten in the crowd of other series but while watching it is a lot of fun so overall I'd definitely recommend it to fans of the genre.
The final episode doesn't wrap up the story but promised 'To be continued'. According the Wikipedia the second season will start in October; I'll be looking forward to it.

The premise of the anime is interesting, the animation work is competent, but it fails upon delivering a substancial experience that will make this show stand out from the crowd.
The whole high schooler having to deal as a teacher thing can lead to so many possibilities of story telling in a romantic comedy. The anime "The quintessential quintuplets" proves that you can make a harem anime that treat its characters with respect and make wholesome and funny moments that will drive the story forward. Which is not the case with "We never learn".
I was having some fun with the anime and the tipical absurd romantic comedy cenarios until I realised that the show had no intention of developing ANY of the characters relations. The results are the same will-they/won't-they cliche jokes over and over again leaving us with only a few and far between touching moments.
You can enjoy the simplicity of the story but if you're looking for anything more than a simple story with the same pattern repeating over and over again, you better look for something else.
A hard-working boy trying to earn his college credits, a simple storyline, but one that captures each character presented. Genius in search of love, and creativity in search of logic.
It is very worth watching, you will fall in love with each one and hope for who should have the final romance.

- TriviaThe series was criticized upon release for coincidentally being very similar to another series from 2019, the Quintessential Quintuplet. Both shows are about an Poor High School Student who works as a Tutor for a group of academically struggling girls, all of whom fall for him one by one. The comparisons particularly started when the First Season of We Never Learn started exactly one week after the Season Finale of the Quintessential Quintuplet.
