The movie very truthfully portrays the ongoing deterioration of the Indian education system. Halahal (meaning "venom") is set against the backdrop of the 2013 Vyapam Scam: a medical entrance-exam and admission racket that featured junior officials, coaching institutes and top ministers, as well as "accidental deaths" of potential whistle-blowers and loose ends. A personal perspective allows the hidden world to be revealed to the viewer in bits and pieces; morality acquires the language of suspense. One begins to question his own surrounding & perspective thereof while watching the film beacause the film communicates with you on such a depth that it makes you think hard enough & being a medical student myself it really hit me hard. I will not reveal much of the plot, you just have to go & watch it yourself. Everything including the script, screenplay, story & other aspects are spot-on while acting by Sachin Khedekar & Barun Sobti deserves a special mention beacause both of them are excellent & flawless in this film. It is a wonderful eye-opening piece of Indian cinema which should not be missed. Kudos to the creators!!
Halahal , based on Vyapam scam of Madhya Pradesh is directed by debutat Randeep Jha and script is penned by Gibran Noorani and Zeeshan Qadri .The film doesn't stray much outside the main storyline and dives quickly into it.The first twenty minutes of the film evokes promise but it soon loses way and becomes predictable. The climax is anything but skillfully executed. It's so unconvincing that the point of everything in the film which occurs before seems irrelevant. The occasional humour works well through the character played by Barun Sobti, the Haryanavi police officer.Sachin Khenderkar also has given a clinical performance as a grieving faher dubious about her daughter's suicide. The cinematography and bgm fits like water into the film.Randeep Jha's direction seems like a derivative of the films belonging too the same genre i.e othig noteworthy. The film is hardly informative and Wikipedia will inform more if one wants to know the details of the scam,no extensive researches are made for the film. The film is watchable only for the lead performances.
Film about medical scam which has realistic ending. No heroism,no filmy scenes, story goes like as like present what happening. @the end corrupted police became correct & victim father became corrupt after hearing that y his daughter got murdered... One time watchable, every actors done well..
The advantage of not having a sensor board on the OTT platform.Otherwise, they would not have allowed such a movie to be released.
A little different kind of movie about corruption in education.👏👍
But it would have been better if the movie was a little bigger.Because we needed to shed some more light on such a good issue.😒
I don't know why Sachinji is so underrated even though he is a very good actor. He has a lot more to give to Bollywood.👌👏🙏🙏
