This tragic story inspired by real life events offers an intimate and heartrelt insight into the lives of a young couple who is dealing with extreme grief after the lost of their child. Personally I loved the approach of showing how different the ways of coping with death of your child can be for the parents, yet both ways are justified and true. And that is what makes the film very believable and genuine. The character development is crucial in this pisture (as we see the younger and older versions of the couple) and I dare to say it was done masterfully and realistically. The acting performances of the two protagonists are so authentic and full of emotins that they fully drag you into this picture and make you feel truly sorry for what they have been through.

... a good production, yet has a very cruel streak running through the middle-heart of the storyline... to be in fact left out for so long, only to be brought back in through a twist of circumstance is callously wrong
... cast well chosen and does good work throughout... meaning to get emotional responses, succeeding when-if you can overlook that singular huge admission-omission... even after all opportunity given her she still held off, until she felt-thought herself-selfishly being-wronged
... along with a big piece of the story being left out from that upbeat-ending... wanting you to feel good, yet all-those-lost-decades belie an easily-sought-outcome.

The first half of the movie is basically repeating the following sequence of events: Woman is mad. Man argues with woman. They make up. Nothing is developed in the first half of the movie. We don't even know the personality of any other characters in the movie, nor did we at any point knew the occupation of the woman in the first half. The sequence repeats itself for like 5 times before we get to the old characters, who provided more depth to the story from their performances, and thus made the film mildly interesting.
I literally heard someone snoring in the theatre.
