Absolute Misogyny

This movie is one that leave you with so many "why" that I can't be sure where to begin or end. Every time I watch a similar one, I can only wonder why all these women do not realize or do not want to realize that not only they don't deserve to be treated like that but also that they do have the power to fight and change things!

What struck me most in this story was the fact that Maryam's infant, according to Iran's laws, when becoming of age, would have the law's and the religion's blessings to condemn his mother to death by hanging, if he thought he should not forgive her for his father's death! If that isn't mysogyny, I can't imagine what is!
