One of the best mystery series after a long time since lost tv series. Speaking of which, I have watched lost tv series more than 5 times. But never felt boring. So I will watch that again when I feel like it.

When those people come to the village and there is no way out, It feels along in a far from the real world they lived.
I have watched many tv series which have the same idea. As an example The society, Wayward Pines, Under the dome, They had scientific things but this one has more like supernatural or extraterrestrial things going on inside this town.
If anyone has a doubt watching this.. just watch, this is amazing and don't give up. Watch is continuously.
