Although the majority of the movie was filmed in New York, it takes place in Manchester New Hampshire.
At the dinner table Shea Whigham's character Packie tells John Pollono's character Frank "I got nothing but love for you" Shea Whigham started in Silver Linings Playbook 2012 and Bradley Cooper's character Pat tells his brother Jake (Whingham) "I got nothing but love for you brother"
