Originally filmed as a vampire-in-the-woods tale called "Red Moon Lake". A new opening scene, in a different aspect ratio than the rest of the film, showing a cleaning crew at the "Amityville Horror house" was added when the name was changed.
Produced in 2019, as per the copyright date at the end of the movie, but not released until 2021.
