The series was canceled a month after debuting on Netflix, ending after one season.
The original Wesker mentions a mind machine interface and chest mount prototype to his clones. These are references to the P30 Chest Device that is used on Jill Valentine in Resident Evil 5.
The motto for Umbrella Corporation, "Our Business Is Life Itself" is taken from the film series.

In "Home Movies" the Wesker sisters play "Moonlight Sonata" on the piano to unlock a clue left by their father. "Moonlight Sonata" was similarly used in the first Resident Evil, where playing the song in the Spencer Mansion opens a secret room.
