The cast of RuPaul’s Drag Race has been officially unveiled!
MTV announced the 14 drag performers who will be competing on the upcoming 17th season of the Emmy award-winning series on Wednesday (December 4).
The competition show was officially announced to be renewed back in August, along with a new season of RuPaul’s Drag Race: Untucked, RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars season 10 and RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars: Untucked.
Season 17 of RuPaul’s Drag Race will kick off with the queens competing in “Drag Queens Got Talent” and this season will bring back the gag-worthy “Rate-a-Queen” scoring system, but with an all-new twist.
The new season, featuring 90-minute episodes, is set to premiere on Friday, January 3rd at 8pm Et/Pt on MTV, followed by RuPaul’s Drag Race: Untucked at 9:30pm Et/Pt.

On Friday (August 16), it was announced that MTV has renewed RuPaul’s Drag Race for season 17 while Paramount+ has picked up RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars for season 10.
