Well after 1-2 episodes I was like..well this guy is trying to imitate @Jatayu! The series is another trash from Hoichoi!

But after watching the 3 series in row I can say Eken Babu is a fresh breath in the world of Bengali detectives! He is absolutely opposite of what a traditional Tiktitki -- I would recommend everyone to watch it

Eken Babu is a one-of-a-kind sleuth who solves complicated and twisted mysteries in his own inimitable style and with some unbeatable comic timing. The stories are quite unique and original, making this series 100% bingeworthy!

I just finished all episodes of the series and this one is definitely the best series Hoichoi has ever produced. Great acting by Mr Anirban - Eken babu and very strong story. Waiting for the 4th series.

You will get a funny touch of well known character "Jatayu" with awesome mind of "Feluda" in a sigle package. Good stories, Excellent acting.

You can watch with your family including children. Worth watching this. And it give the detective series in different dimension with the Eken Babu character than the as usual detective character. Sometume you will feel the sequences are a bit slow but you will not feel boring.

It's out of ours vision about we thinking detective. A simple foolish like bengali people who to become a directive that's make this series . No high story just acting & comedy full in this series . Must watch

A very good story line with a mixture of comedy and mystery.

The storyline of this series is just amazing and acting is also superb. This series is full of Entertainment and mysterious. Overall very good series.

Just after watching a 2 or 3 episodes I felt that the person Eken was trying to make a replica of Jatayu with funny attitude. So was not sure if I should continue watching and complete the season. But after watching the first season I must say this is a kind of fresh air. The story is simple but Eken Babu played it well with his funny attitude and dialouge and made a simple Bengali detective story special and worth watching. He knows the difference between "comic" and "bharamo" and he handled it well. The direction could have been a bit better but no complain. A must watch for those who love Bengali detective series.

The first 5 seasons were awesome in terms of acting and stories. But in Season 6 neither the story was good nor the acting. Eken babu, Mr. Anirban Chakraborti whom I loved to watch doesn't seem like at his best in this season 6. Honestly speaking, we loved Eken babu series till the release of The eken Movie. When The eken movie was released, the boringness of this Bengali web series started. The first trio was awesome. In fact, Bapi babu acted so natural that we got to know the person as Bapi babu, not even know his original name. Recent Bapi babu and Pramatha didn't match themselves with the characters.

Really awesome. Love the story . They way eken babu create comedy sometimes is really funny.

Eken babu is a wonderful combination of humour and intelligence...a talkative, busybody just like the next to door neighbour yet with excellent observation and deduction ability. All the stories were smooth...I never felt bored anytime. After a long time I watched a quality story.

This is by far the best series I have watched this year..!! 6-7 episodes go by like a breeze.. Not a single dull moment.. Beautiful writing, direction and performances, superb comedy, brilliant story and pace.. Absolute Delight! Can watch with family

Fantastic presentation with a simple, smooth story. Everyone should try it. Because the story is not overly complicated and obviously pleasant, it appeals to people of all ages, from children to adults. This is a fantastic show.

It's a great treat to watch anirban Chakraborty as aken babu. He is just awsome in one word. And the others like Shoumo Banerjee, Debapriyo Bagchi and Sreya Sinha as Bapi, Promethazine and Rupal Mahera just complete him as a perfect team. I just love to watch Aken babu series again and again. Please bring many more like these . Only one thing I just want ti suggest that Please don't break this team. Together they are just complete each other. That's why season 4 didn't impress me a lot. Season 3 is better but season 1, 2 and 5 just splendid in one word because all the members like Akendra, Bapi, Pramatha and Rupal Mahera are there. So please continue this legacy. Looking forward to see more and more season of Aken Babu. Thanks. All the best.

Eken Babu is not like typical detective drama with unnecessary vulgarity, profanity, sex blah blah blah!! It is an exquisite blend of both humor & thrill. Personally, I like the humor part. Already 5 seasons have been launched & it is Hoichoi's one of the beloved series. You can binge watch this show with your whole family, undoubtedly it won't disappoint you... Chemistry between Eken Babu & supporting character Promotho & Bapi is also a best part of the series. Eken Babu might resemble Feluda's Jotiyu. But the character is unique in circumstances. Hoichoi must carry this show as their signature content for sure. Regards🇧🇩🖤

It used to be very good series, with previous bapi babu and promatha, since they are changed it lost the edge. But Somak in that role is like eating khichdi in a 5 star hotel.

As it has progressed the acting of Anirban as eken babu has evolved a lot. But I who used to take subscription of hoichoi for eken babu miss the initial chemistry between the actors a lot.

Not to mention 1st 3 season has been best. And also the switch between series and movie doesn't make sense either. That shows kind of lack of continuity.

Again some actor changes may make it far better. The simpler it is the better it will be.

From the 1st episode it gives you the giggling and thrill both. It's really a fresh content than other detective series.. And Anirban is a treat to watch as Eken babu. Some middle episodes are lil slow but not boring at all. And his other 2 friends are also good.. Overall you will enjoy it if you like thriller and comedy. It's kinda fall into dark comedy genre.

"There was a brown crow" - Well the sentence looks funny and humorous since a crow is definitely not brown. But when humours become puzzles, Outlines turn into messages or riddles like broken pieces if joined together carved out with a new meaning, quite similar to the starting instance, an order from the master to his servant to close the door - Darwaza band karo.

Eken Babu brings up such ambience to the watchers with his unique personality, thirst for detecting the deep rooted causes behind so-called miseries. He is a food-lover, Mistry lover and has a sharp eye for everything.

Please do watch if you are fond of detective stories.

Great mystery and thriller storyline peppered with hilarious comic timing by Anirban Chakraborty and his mannerisms, his deduction abilities, along with his accomplices Bapi babu, Promotho, Rupal Mehra Madam :D makes it a breezy watch. An absolute family favourite relished by all age groups. Easily the best Bengali content out there ! . "Ki je bolen Sir " - 😃

Binge watched the entire 5 seasons in 2 nights.

What comedy timing! What change in character in times of need! What locations! What tributes to the past detective heroes! A complete package!

A detective lives within our society, no extra flare no glare...just pure simplicity at it's best!

Ecstatically waiting for the next Seasonss!!
