The script won a contest held in South Korea in 2014 by the Korea Creative Content Agency. As part of their global marketing strategy, the agency formed partnerships with other countries such as China, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam, which is why there's also Vietnamese version of Extreme Job, titled "Nghe Sieu De" or "Extremely Easy Job."
