From the cover poster and through the first two episodes it seems you are getting a standard romantic comedy ghost story. Then it turns very dark and the comedy gets sidelined. I applaud the cast and crew for their attempt and I really enjoyed it. I am surprised it gets rated so low. The leads are excellent and the story is a Rollercoaster ride. Go in with an open mind and I don't think you will ge disappointed. 8 seems a little harsh .. I wokd have liked an 8.5 but I have to be honest or else this site is pointless. I can surely say I recommend this but be aware... you are going on a roller coaster.
Regrettably, I can't recall another film that caused me as much entertainment whiplash as this one. Which makes me really sad because the beginning had so much potential... If only it had been consistent from start to finish, I wouldn't have gotten so invested, then been so disappointed at the disaster it devolved into (and I don't believe that's an exaggeration).
There are too many problems in the last 4 episodes to attempt listing. Even the script and acting, which IMO were initially excellent, turned contrived and melodramatic. And the last time I saw a film with so much pointless death and needless tragedy was when I saw Seven in high school (yep, I'm old). This was all the more frustrating because I could see where the director was trying to go, but that only made the failure to get there even more unbearable. And while the ending itself does offer a sliver of closure, it pales in comparison to the irritation you have to suffer to reach it.
ROMANCE RATING: 6/10 While I thought Ko Jun Hee and Song Sae Byeok did have a certain chemistry on screen, it didn't feel like romantic chemistry. It was more like the rapport of partners who have worked together for a long time. So needless to say, while I could buy into their attachment to each other, their kisses looked more like friend kisses (even though they were clearly supposed to be lovers).
In summary, if you are fine with creating your own viewing experience, I can recommend the first 12 episodes (which were interesting and suffered minimal melodrama), then skip to the last 10 minutes of the show if you want an official "ending." But if you need to see how everything gets to that ending, be warned you are in for a frustrating ride. Sorry, I can't recommend this show.

I didn't expect much but it is well done and amazing show but it should only have been 10 episodes because second half of the season is very bad like they didn't have anything left to tell!
What turn out to be a really strong and promising beginning falls flat and drags in the second half of the show. I love the suspense and the eerie feeling that the first four episode presents. The story started to spiral into a love story that makes the main character unbearable, weak, and selfish. I felt he neglected the duty of his job and became the most slappable person in the world by trying to chase his love story no matter who becomes the sacrifice. I'd watch probably 12 episodes if you decide to give this a try but be warn the last 4 episode would probably make you want to throw yourself off a bridge because of the frustration from the main character.
The story of an immature, irresponsible, and incompetent detective named Kang, and a girl with psychic abilities who team up to pursue a serial killer, who becomes possessed by the spirit of another serial killer. I've seen other Korean shows I enjoyed very much, Signal, and Tunnel, and A Man Named God. But this show is becoming difficult to watch. Det. Kang has his psychic abilities awakened through his love interest. He has some good instincts, but he makes awful errors in judgement, and has virtually no control of his emotions. This isn't the first show to glorify a detective who wants to arrest a bad guy without any evidence of his guilt, but Kang takes this stupidity to new heights, or lows. Do the writers think this appeals to viewers? This trope of a detective who is so sure of a person's guilt that he insists on arresting him without evidence is so banal. After fouling things up so spectacularly, Kang plays the victim and never acknowledges his errors or the predicament he puts his teamates in. I am seriously questioning whether I should finish this series.
