After starting to watch this movie I was intrigued. Especially learning about events they are referencing. But after trying to watch it, when it referenced the Dyatlov pass Incident, it claimed the 9 hikers were found dead 9 miles away from the campsite, which is profoundly incorrect. Then they said they all died from radiation poisoning. Which is also false, some of the bodies showed radioactive activity, however the hikers died from either hypothermia or blunt force trauma. I know it's reading into it too deep but when you know the facts and a movie talking about mysterious events just falsely claims stuff about anomalous events it loses its credibility. Then when they were talking about using magnetic fields to find anomalous magnetic activity where the missing hiker was last seen, they then claimed that earths magnetic field was fueled by the sun. Which was incredibly false, you learn otherwise in middle school science. Again I hate to be the guy to be like "umm, actually..." but just giving complete false information in a documentary about missing hikers and trying to show the audience that it's hard and impossible to explain these disappearances make you lose all credibility with anything.
David Paulides has gone above and beyond his normal job of reporting the Missing 411 books/ and missing people.
This documentary will awaken your mind to mysterious and intriguing stories of ,"unknown", possibilities some of us already knew of. Definitely worth watching!!!
On heels of Missing 411: The Hunted David goes deeper into legends and beliefs (of which I totally agree) to find explanations for these disappearances. Well done on all levels, yet I didn't like the 'discovery ch narration' at all but thankfully narration. Wasn't intrusive.
I find it maddening that I can't find to buy a dvd of this and just entering 'Vanished' gets lost and unfindable in some arenas.
"The driving forces of the universe, the framework upon which it is built up in all its parts, belong to another phase of manifestation than our physical plane, having other dimensions than the three to which we are habituated, and perceived by other modes of consciousness than those to which we are accustomed." -Einstein.

This film really enlightens one to some of the mysteries of areas where people have vanished without a trace! A lot of information on Native spirituality and trying to explain mysteries with science. I know I will watch this many times. I wish this was a series! I love this type of programs because it opens my mind to tantalizing possibilities. The time just flew by watching this. It captures your imagination and would be wonderful to show to kids maybe seventh grade or higher. Do yourself a favor and watch this at least once-or twice. I know that I will search for similar films. A huge thank you to the people that put this together.
Highly recommend to anyone interested in the M411 phenomenon as well people spending time outdoors. Be safe out there!
