Elden Ring Nightreign just hit 3.5 million players, and FromSoftware decided to celebrate by announcing that yes, those bosses you’ve been struggling with are about to get significantly harder. Enhanced Nightlords are coming, and honestly, it’s about time (yes. already.).
But here’s the thing—anyone paying attention to the game’s deeper files and unused content saw this coming from miles away. The breadcrumbs have been scattered throughout the game since launch, just waiting for someone to connect the dots.
The breadcrumbs were scattered everywhere
The most obvious hint came from the soundtrack itself, though most Elden Ring Nightreign players were too busy getting demolished by regular Nightlords to notice.
Buried in the game’s audio files are third-phase boss themes that never actually play during encounters. These tracks exist, they’re fully composed and mastered, but they’ve been sitting dormant since launch:

The Vampire Diaries was, first and foremost, about creatures of the night. The vampires were the central focus of the CW drama, even as the romance and drama elevated it to the next level. Fans were initially introduced to a single type of vampire, like Damon and Stefan, who had super speed, strength, and compulsion abilities. Soon enough, older and new types of vampires made their way onto Tvd.
The Originals, the Heretics, and Enhanced Originals were some of the more powerful vampires introduced to the show, with even more formidable abilities than ordinary vampires. With razor-sharp fangs, incredible reflexes, and magical abilities, these were the strongest vampires in The Vampire Diaries, ranked from least to most powerful.

Enhance Fallout 4 combat with the "Enhanced Movement" mod for smoother action-packed gameplay. Improve enemy AI with mods like the Commonwealth Encounter Pack and the Immersive Fallout Combat Mod. Balance gameplay by testing the new slide against challenging foes like Deadlier Deathclaws.
Given the amount of combat the average Fallout 4 player will see in a campaign, it just makes sense to install this mod which improves movement by making everything much smoother and more action-orientated. One of the most widely held beliefs regarding the fourth mainline game in the Fallout franchise is that while its role-playing elements feel underbaked, its combat is leagues ahead of every other installment. Having said that, it's still fairly clunky, especially when so many modern shooters have figured out how to handle movement through a first-person perspective.

“Queen Rock Montreal” will make its global streaming premiere May 15 on Disney+ as the first concert film available with Imax Enhanced sound by DTS.
When it arrived in theaters in January, the remastered 1981 concert was Imax’s biggest exclusive engagement. Now, it will debut on Disney+ alongside 18 Marvel films that will also be offered with Imax Enhanced sound on supported devices, Imax’s senior VP and head of Imax post and image capture Bruce Markoe announced during a panel Sunday at the Nab Show in Las Vegas.
The original concerts, featuring Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon, took place over two consecutive nights in November 1981, and were arranged specifically to be filmed for a full-length concert film to document their live show. The performance includes classics such as “Another One Bites the Dust,” “Bohemian Rhapsody” and “Somebody to Love.” It was restored for Imax by Mercury Studios.

In a recent New Yorker interview, experimental electronic musician Daniel Lopatin noted that he finds most of the hand-wringing over A.I., specifically in the context of creating music, to be overblown. What’s more interesting, he added, is seeing how A.I. “creates these insinuated arrangements that don’t sound anything like any music I’ve ever heard.”
This tension between the organic and the synthetic—or, more specifically, between what sounds “natural” and what’s trying its hardest to be perceived as such—defines Again, Lopatin’s 10th album as Oneohtrix Point Never. It’s an album that, like much of Lopatin’s work, sounds as if every single MP3 file on a hard drive was corrupted beyond the point of recognition. But there’s still a wealth of grace and unearthly beauty to be found in these glitched-out compositions.
There’s an abundance of allusions to Lopatin’s past releases throughout Again,...

The long-anticipated remake of System Shock has finally arrived after nearly a decade, bringing modern graphics and mechanics to the sci-fi classic. The original title was released in 1994, going on to influence a myriad of other immersive sim games that would follow in its footsteps like Deus Ex and the BioShock series. System Shock's reboot comes from Nightdive Studios, which specializes in releasing enhanced versions of classic games, and publisher Prime Matter.
System Shock follows a hacker protagonist who's brought to the Citadel Space Station to override the ethical constraints of its AI, Shodan. After awakening from a cryogenic sleep on the station several months later, things have devolved into chaos, and players must utilize a combination of exploration, puzzling, and combat in order to stop Shodan's plans to wipe out all human life. The System Shock reboot has received critical praise for striking a balance between modernized graphics and...

Like many sitcoms, How I Met Your Mother is full of continuity errors, but the series has a unique quality that allows it to get away with it. As audiences sat back week after week and listened to future Ted Mosby telling his kids the (very long) story of how he had met their mother, they would notice a few inconsistencies here and there. This is nothing new to sitcoms, where timelines or character details might be shifted for plot convenience. However, the way that How I Met Your Mother set itself up in season 1 made continuity even less of an issue and automatically excused plotholes or inconsistencies.
The entirety of How I Met Your Mother is told through flashbacks, with future Ted narrating (voiced by Bob Saget) everything that happened to him leading up to meeting his future wife. This was a unique premise in that audiences were given...

"They're not people, they're weapons!" Vertical Ent. has released an official trailer for an indie sci-fi thriller about mutants, of course, called Enhanced. There are so many mutants films nowadays, it's becoming a dime-a-dozen and they're not that original anymore. A young woman with "enhanced" abilities finds herself hunted down by a sinister government organization. But when an even stronger mutant serial killer emerges on the scene, agents and mutants are forced to question their allegiances. Alanna Bale stars, with George Tchortov, Adrian Holmes, Chris Mark, Eric Hicks, Michael J. Delaney, and Patrick Sabongui. This is made by a former stuntman, so at least the action looks cool, but not sure the rest of it'll be any good. Here's the official trailer (+ poster) for James Mark's Enhanced, direct from YouTube: George Shepherd is part of an elite private military unit that specializes in capturing mutant fugitives. When David, a super mutant,...
