Cobweb begins a week before Halloween when Peter is woken up by the sound of knocking seemingly coming from inside his bedroom wall. You can’t blame him for being creeped out, with its peeling paint and backyard full of rotting pumpkins the house already looks like something out of a horror movie. And then there’s that weird bulging thing the walls in his room do while he’s sleeping.
We also quickly learn that he has no friends and gets bullied at school. His parents Carol and Mark also won’t let him dress up for Halloween, something that may be related to the disappearance of a young girl a few years ago. Unsurprisingly they also don’t believe him about the knocking.

In February 2023, Netflix will remove a bunch of movie and TV series from its library,
Netflix UK and Netflix US takes down numerous titles each month without fanfare, meaning that many things on your watchlist could suddenly disappear.
These removals are due to licencing deals coming to an end. Often, the titles make their way back to Netflix in the following year, but sometimes they leave to go to other platforms.
This month sees a selection of Netflix Originals being taken down, also.
To minimise surprise, we have put together a comprehensive list of everything being removed in both Netflix UK and US.

English playwright William Congreve wrote that hell hath no fury like a woman scorned back in 1697. Now Jesse V. Johnson and writers Katharine Lee McEwan (Solitary) and Romain Serir (The Girl with Two Faces) are out to prove it’s still true with Hell Hath No Fury, a World War II set story of a woman forced to fight against both sides in order to survive.
World War II is drawing to a close and Marie is about to receive summary justice as a collaborator. She wasn’t, but that’s besides the point. She’s saved from them by a quartet of American G.I.s led by Major Maitland. They’re not doing it out of a sense of justice though, it...

Universal 1440 Entertainment has released a new thrilling, intense, and action-packed teaser trailer for Doom: Annihilation. There’s not a lot of footage in the trailer, but as you’ll see it still packs in a lot of cool footage filled with monsters and mayhem.
This isn’t a big-budget Doom movie being released in theaters. This is going straight to home entertainment release, but it still looks like it’ll be a fun flick to watch! Here’s the synopsis:
On the darkest moon of Mars, scientists have found an ancient portal which allows teleportation throughout the universe. Considered to be mankind’s greatest discovery, it’s actually a gateway from hell, unleashing a swarm of demons looking to steal the souls of everyone who gets in their way. It’s up to Lieutenant Joan Dark and an elite unit of Marines to destroy an ever-growing horde of bloodsucking...

We've known that Universal Pictures Home Entertainment has been working on a VOD-bound Doom movie, but now we get our first good look at the movie and an official release date.
"Doom: Annihilation follows a group of space marines as they respond to a distress call from a base on a Martian moon, only to discover it’s been overrun by demonic creatures who threaten to create Hell on Earth. The film stars Amy Manson (”Atlantis”), Dominic Mafham (Ophelia) and Luke Allen-Gale (“Dominion”) and Nina Bergman (The Car: Road to Revenge). Directing the project is Tony Giglio (S.W.A.T.: Under Siege), who also penned the film. The film is executive produced by Lorenzo Di Bonaventura (Bumblebee) and John Wells (“Animal Kingdom”) and is produced by Jeffery Beach (Jarhead 3: The Siege), Phillip Roth (Death Race: 4 Beyond Anarchy) and Ogden Gavanski (Cult of Chucky)."
Doom: Annihilation will be released on October 1st!

The first trailer for Universal 1440 Entertainment's Doom: Annihilation is here and it's not a game anymore. We were just recently treated to the official title, along with some images and the synopsis, so the trailer release isn't too much of a surprise. With that being said, we're looking at movie that is much different than 2005's Doom, which starred Dwayne Johnson and was a complete flop at the box office. Instead, we're going back to the original 1993 game's roots, which should have some fans of the franchise pretty excited for the upcoming release.
Director Tony Giglio wanted to take a step away from the 2005 adaptation to make Doom: Annihilation a bit more "artful." However, there will still be a first-person shooter aspect to the movie like the first adaptation, thanks to the "heads up display" on the team's visors, which the director says is an homage to the original game.

Well, that was fast! Earlier this morning we shared some first look photos from the upcoming new Doom film, Doom: Annihilation. Now Universal Pictures has released the first teaser trailer for you to watch, and it actually looks like it will be kinda fun.
This film didn’t get the epic big-budget treatment, but there are aspects of the trailer that I like, like that big-ass gun and crazy creatures. It’s also said to be an "intense action-packed" movie. This is only a 30-second teaser, but I’m looking forward to seeing more.

The “space marines” have been confirmed to be the Uac marines, who are the same team from the video game franchise.

The first trailer for “Doom: Annihilation,” the latest live-action adaptation of the popular first-person shooter, is out in the wild.
An NBC/Universal spokesperson told Variety the new “Doom” is being handled by Universal 1440 Entertainment, which produces live-action and animated non-theatrical productions directly for distribution in all media worldwide. That means the film may be direct-to-dvd, or it could possibly appear on a digital platform like Netflix. Universal 1440’s other projects currently include the latest “Tremors” movie, a “Death Race” sequel, and an adaptation of Bruce Coville’s sci-fi classic “Aliens Ate My Homework.”
Bloody Disgusting reports that the upcoming film, written and directed by Tony Giglio, stars Amy Manson (“Atlantis”), Dominic Mafham (“Ophelia”), Luke Allen-Gale (“Dominion”), and Nina Bergman (“The Car: Road to Revenge”) with Lorenzo di Bonaventura of “Transformers” producing. “Animal Kingdom’s” John Wells is also on board as executive producer.

Last year it was announced that Universal Pictures was developing a new film adaptation of Doom. The movie is called Doom: Annihilation and it is going to be a direct Home Entertainment release. We have our first look at the film thanks to some photos that have surfaced at Dread Central. They also offered a synopsis for the film!
Doom: Annihilation follows a group of space marines as they respond to a distress call from a base on a Martian moon, only to discover it’s been overrun by demonic creatures who threaten to create Hell on Earth.
The report goes on to say that the “space marines” in the synopsis are also 100% confirmed to be Uac marines, who are the same team from the game franchise.

This Fall, Universal's straight-to-video arm Universal 1440 Entertainment has an all-new Doom movie headed our way. And today we have word that the film has been officially titled Doom: Annihilation. Not only that, but we have three first-look stills for you guys to check out. You can give them a look-see below. Another bit of info to keep in mind when it comes to Doom: Annihilation is that the movie is not - I repeat not - a direct sequel to the 2005 version like we were led to believe. But that's all good as that version was pretty much a waste of movie-making magic. The part that goes first-person-shooter was pretty cool though. Anyhow, no, this new movie isn't a sequel to that Doom movie which starred Karl Urban, Rosamund Pike, and Dwyane "The Rock" Johnson.
Moving on, the last bit of news we heard on this new Doom...
