Appreciateable

This show is not perfect but good. The screenplay is nice but not the story. The acting of the actress is awsome which make the show a good one. We all have to support these kind of new shows, apart from the tamil dubbed series it's realistic and easily connectable.

Bold, Dark and Highly Provocative !!

Kallachirippu is definitely bold, dark and provocative for Tamil cinema standards. I saw this on ZEE5 in the form of single movie of 138 minutes runtime, where as I believe earlier it was presented in a web series format, consisting of 8 episodes. Actually in my opinion, the web series format would have worked out much better in favour than a single movie format, for a dark storyline like this. I definitely wouldn't certify Kallachirippu as a movie that is way ahead of its times but the fact is, it very progressive and is in tune with the 2020s. I wish Tamil film makers get bolder and put in their efforts in writing such unpredictable scripts.

Full credit to producer Karthik Suburaj for making a script like, Kallachirippu to see daylight. But except for a unprecedented storyline, Kallachirippu lacks in every technical aspect. Basic cinematography, laggy editing, music, poor production design and some terrible makeup, which often hampers the viewer's mind to take Kallachirippu very seriously. The woes continues on the acting front too, apart from the lead Amuthaa Srinivasan, who puts in a valiant effort despite her short comings, she is let down terribly by the supporting actors, especially the the three young men in the story.

Overall, Kallachirippu is an highly engaging and an entertaining crime thriller cut for the next Generation. Despite its inherent flaws, the movies draws attention totally based on its strength in its dialogues. The movie is definitely 18+ and certainly not 13+ as projected and not suitable for full family viewing. The movie will remind Tamil audiences on how much Tamil movie writing has evolved in these changing times and it is left to the audiences to ride the tide or become dated. 6.5 stars out of 10 for a peek into Tamil cinema's future.

Worth watching

I came to Zee5 to watch this movie after seeing Amrutha getting best actress award in a show and she validated it well and loud.

Good story, screen play and apt BGM. No songs is a plus. Starts slow with a Murder, but gathers speed as it goes. Lots of twist for the main protagonist and to us. It is given 18+ for language the strong language and violence. Amrutha played very strong character without hesitation, hats of to you.

The bond between innocent mother and strong daughter jelled well. The hate full father and the selfish groom family were portrayed perfectly. All actors played well.

Don't waste your precious time!

Worst story and completely Western social values being pushed unnecessarily through Indian cinemas. Could not watch beyond 40 minutes.
