Lavette, an intelligent and lovely young woman, gets free from prison after serving a two year sentence. While inside she scores high on her college SATs which empowers her to pursue her college dream. As she works to repair her relationship with her father, her past comes back to haunt her in the form of ex-girlfriend Mia and ex-boyfriend Zee. Lavette still has feelings for both, but her association with Mia is what originally got her locked up so she has a tough choice to make as she struggles with both her sexuality and loyalty.
